As some of you might know, over the last few months I've been watching a bunch of movies. More than usual. Now there are lots of good movies. But many many more crappy movies. So it's important to do some heavy selection before acquiring games. And what is better than getting recommendations from my fellow gamers ?

So my question is: what are your favorite all-time movies ?
And maybe a short word, explaining why you like it ?
I'm especially interested in movies that are older than a few years. Because people usually remember the most recent movies. While there have been so many good movies in previous decades.
